Est. 2021, Huehuete, Nicaragua
It was a hot, humid day in Huehuete. We were serving a small local church plant by walking through the village, praying for locals, handing out church fliers, and sharing the Gospel with anyone who would listen. Despite its central location, the church was struggling to establish a presence in the village.
After spending nearly the whole day in the village, Andrew Creekpaum noticed a group of eight young men sitting by the bridge. Prompted by the Holy Spirit, he approached them and began to minister. At first, the men seemed disinterested. Then Andrew noticed a baseball glove one of them held and asked, “Do you play baseball?” The young men brightened immediately. “Yes!” they exclaimed. “Next week, we can bring some baseball equipment and play a game—but before we play, we want to minister and pray for you guys.”
That week, we searched the village for baseball equipment but found none, so we traveled to Managua, the capital, where we were fortunate to find what we needed. Nicole prepared 20 sandwiches and brought juice for the men.
When we arrived at the baseball field, we were amazed to see 75 men had shown up, fully geared and ready to defeat the “pathetic Americans.” We didn’t have enough sandwiches!
After the game, Andrew shared the Gospel of grace with everyone present. We estimate about 100 people heard the message that day, as the men had brought their wives, girlfriends, and children.
We returned to the field each week, preaching, playing, and praying for two months. While attendance declined slightly, the men who remained were eager to hear more. One week, we decided to play baseball and then walk with them to the church to start a men’s discipleship program. That week, 45 men attended, the Gospel was preached, and every man present made a public confession of faith.
To this day, the men continue attending weekly services and playing baseball. They even formed a church league and won the championship in 2022!
We are grateful to the World Baseball Organization in Tulsa, OK, for supplying the equipment these men need to continue glorifying Christ in Huehuete.

Bible Distributions
In 2021, Creekpaum Ministries provided hundreds of Bibles and Gospel resources to ministry leaders in Diriamba and Huehuete, Nicaragua—many receiving their very first Bible due to the high cost in the region.

Pioneering Church Plants
We are excited to announce that we are beginning the process of planting our first church in San Cristóbal de las Casas, a city influenced by New Ageism, Islam, Buddhism, Spiritualism, and indigenous traditions. Our goal is not to replace existing evangelical churches, but to come alongside them, empowering them to continue the ministry God has called them to. In conjunction with their work, we will serve the Lord by planting Bible-based churches in the city that will reach into the many cultures represented here.
Keep in touch for updates as we continue this faith-filled adventure!

Evangelism and Discipleship Efforts
Making Christ Known...
We believe that all believe should actively be doing the work of the evangelist. 2 Timothy 4:5. We acknowledge that while the Gospel message never changes, the ministers of the Gospel are uniquely created by God to minister the Gospel in their communities therefore the methods may vary person to person, but the message is the same.
Methods that we utilize:
One on One ministry using apologetics
Open air public preaching
Gospel tracts distribution
Door to door ministry
